How to whiten your teeth at home –Whitening strips

There are several different types of teeth whitening for home use available. In this post we are going to look a bit at teeth whitening with whitening strips.
Teeth whitening with whitening strips:
The most common brand here is Crest Whitestrips, but there are also several other brands available. The whitening strips consist of small plastic strips coated with whitening gel. You simply remove these strips from the plastic packaging and place them over your teeth. A normal teeth whitening procedure with strips takes about 30minutes, 10 to 14 days.
Pros and cons.
The main positive thing about whitening strips is the ease of use. The procedure is straight forward and it does not take a long time. Others have reported that the treatment might be quite messy, as the whitening gel tends to drip from the strips and into the mouth. Be sure not to swallow too much of the whitening gel. Another thing to note is that the whitening gel used on the strips are not as strong and effective as gel used in several other “home use” treatments. But more on that later.
