I put on a fake tan a couple of days ago – it looks awful (really patchy). How can I get it off?
I’ve got a big night out tonight and don’t want to look like I’ve been Tango’d! I’ve tried exfoliating – even scrubbed myself with a scouring pad! I’m desperate! Help!
Lemon juice, sea salt and water mixture … put it on a loofah and scrub!

Well I never had this type of situation before because I’m naturally darker than others, but I guess maybe taking a shower or a bath maybe might work.

im sure it has sunk into your pores its going to take weeks of showering its not all going to come off at once

exfoliate…a lot….but dont irritate your skin too much…it WILL come off. ive been through that too!! also, it DOES get much better after you shower once or twice
References :
shower, scrub a lot, and lemon juice. then just use your normal shower gel and hopefully itll get off!

I was told Lemon Juice and a loofah will get it off. I don’t know I’ve never tried it but hey it won’t hurt to try. Good Luck!

Well, if you can’t get it off that first layer of skin, then I’d say it’s in pretty deep. Either cover up your skin, or apply more of the self-tanner to even up the patchy spots.

or try tanning wipes to repair what you’ve already got on. If you have got the money go and get a spray tan done for around £20.

Oh well..thats the problem with fake tan. Lots of women in my office use and it never looks natural. Keep away from it. People are too obsessed with how they look.

I don’t use the stuff for that reason, either cancel the night out or go like you are. It will fade in time, after about 2 weeks of baths.

You need to use a sugar scrub.
Mix sugar and water ( so it feels grainy) then wet a towel with the mixture, and rub. You may have to do this a few times. Next time make sure you exfoliate before using a fake tan.

St Tropez do a tan removal cream. It’s fairly pricey but does the job. I got mine in Boots, but I think they only stock it in larger stores.

take a shower as warm as you can stand it to open up your pores then use the lemon juice and soapy water afterwards use plain lotion you will something with a good moisturizer because all the scrubbing is going 2 dry out your skin and by the way you arent a retard, everyone has to live and learn, chalk it up as a lesson learned and enjoy your summer.

The best thing to do would be to take a hot bath (not too hot though you dont want to be burned too) just enough to make your skin tingle and soak in it for a good half an hour. it should make your skin soft and lift the top layer of skin, therefore lifting the tan. After the half hour in the bath get a loofa or exfoliating gloves and completley scrape away removing the now soft layer of skin. \hopefully you should be back to your original colour…depends how much your willing to scrape

works for me

Take a hot bath and exfoliate really well. It prob wont come off before tonight but it might not look as bad. Do not use a scouring pad on your skin!!

Put some baby oil on your skin before you use your exfoilant. I hate fake tan they all look terrible. Good luck
