Try going to the Symantic website and looking for removal instructions. My favorite anti malware app is Windows Defender. Free from Microsoft.com

I recommend you download superantispyware. It will fix that problem. It is VERY effective and it is free.

PROGRAMS HAVE BEEN ADDED.
go to add and remove programs in control panel and remove any alien programs, rebooting is required.
this is not a virus or spyware so nothing will be detected on a scan, it is a scam bye fraudulent websites to get your credit card details. just remove the programs and re-scan on completion to be on the safe side.

Having a log posted and checked, is the real and only way to ensure that your computer is clean.
