Do people actually believe that I love New York was real after viewing last night’s show?
Honestly, I knew the whole thing was fake on the last episode when Tango proposed to New York. It just didn’t feel real, especially her reaction. Everyone on this site seems to feel bad for New York because Tango dumped her. The whole thing was an act and Tango and New York were never together. VH1 wanted a second season of I love New York…it’s all about the benjamins.
I also agree with you that it was planned….
I watched the show and also decided for myself that it was fake when he proposed… She wasn’t expecting it I’m sure and she knew that a future show would probably be in the works but now… it’s probably her and Chance or either just a season 2….Either way I’m sick of it…But I guess they all gotta get there fame…

What was up with Tango’s Hat on I Love New York?
Did anyone else think it looked absolutely ridiculous last night during the elimitation’s?! Or is it just me?
Yes, I totally agree with you. The hat looked a hot mess!!!! Tango think he is so cool and cute but he is so ugly, lame, and fake to me. But of course, that’s just my opinion.

Tango had the right.
NY got what she deserved….that’s the reason no one likes her or no man can get serious about her, because she says the nastiest things about people and the way she treats them. Simply no respect! I wonder what’s next for her, I love NY season 2??? Shouldn’t she get tired of getting dumped on t.v.? I think Tango was smart for doing what he did, and he was so smooth about it, too. Good for you, Tango.

Does anyone have any recommendations for good salsa/tango/latino ballroom songs?
i have the havana nights 2 song, the shall we dance song, and copacabana. we are doing a couples dance and need some good recommendations.
for the tango or argentine tango or even the pase doble i recommend "Roxanne" from Moulin Rouge

A question for men and women over 40 who have an unhappy relationship with one or both of your parents?
The two of you are as different as night and day. You love your parent, but you don’t get along and you have had a very contentious relationship with them for many years, and always end up in the same place: In a heated argument. You learn that your parent has held a grudge against you for something that happened 25 years ago. I say it takes two to tango, but she wants to put you on a guilt trip and blame the outcome on you. How would you deal with this? You’ve confronted her in the past and asked her if she held a grudge and she denied it, but the truth is she has held a grudge all these years. I feel like this person is no good for me emotionally or psychologically.

Well let me tell you, I had the same exact problem with my mother, and because it always resulted in the same negative ending, I broke ties with her. She has since moved to another state and married some jackass. I regret it. Just remember they are your parents and will not be around forever. You never know what tommorrow will bring. Just keep the conversation light with them and if it starts going in a bad direction, seperate yourself. But like I said, just remember they are the only parents you will ever have.
