Can anyone recommend ice dancing books and dvds?
I have the level 1 ISU dance dvd, which shows rhythm blues, canasta tango, dutch waltz etc, and talks you through each dance as the couple perform, but would like more if possible, and also a reading list. Thank you! Happy skating!
Unfortunately, there are very few ice dancing books and DVDs out there right now.
PSA (Professional Skater’s Association) has a good spiral bound book which features dance diagrams and lists the test standards and common errors. It’s simply called "Ice Dance Patterns".
The Physics on Ice series of DVD’s is good for learning skating quality which is directly related to ice dance. The coach who produced it went to the Olympics in ice dance.

Where can I find instruction for advanced steps of tango?
I took a beginner’s course last year and found it a bit too easy. Now I am too good at it. Looking for intermediate to advanced instruction online or a DVD.
Really do not know which kind.. A description, though is that you take three steps backward (right left right) and then two steps to the left (Left, together). Not sure which specific kind this is.
You didn’t specify what kind of Tango – International, American or Argentine…
The best place to learn is classes. This is where you can get the steps and also the feedback from the teacher. If you are looking for DVDs check out http://www.dancesport.uk.com and http://dancevision.com

How do you disable regional lockout on DVD players?
I need to where I can go to learn how to disable the regional settings for my DVD player. I like to watch foreign films, and the ones I really like I legally obtain for my own personal movie collection. I bought "The Tango Lesson" from a UK website because the movie in DVD form was not available anywhere in the US. When I finally received it, I was surprised to find that I could not play it because of it having a regional setting of ‘2′ and my DVD player only played region ‘1′. So I really need some good advice on how I may be able to fix this situation before trying to buy a multi-regional DVD player. (BTW, do those really work?)
Here is the website that has all the hacks…
