Our National Flowers

It’s interesting how most countries have a “national flower”. What about the UK?

In the United Kingdom (meaning England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Scotland) each of the countries have their own national floral emblem. England’s national floral symbol is the Tudor rose. Wales national floral symbol is the leek, the sessile oak, or the daffodil, which represents unrequited love. Northern Ireland’s national flower is the shamrock, the flax, or the orange lily, which represents pride, wealth, and hate. And finally, Scotland’s national floral emblem is depicted by the heather, the Scottish bluebell, which depicts humility or the thistle.

If you want to send flowers in the UK at all, I recommend Flowers By Post
