Any Advice for sore muscles?
I have very sore thigh and calf muscles from hip hop practice the other day…
Anyone care to share their favorite remedies for sore muscles?
i have a tango class tomorrow night and so i am going nuts..they hurt really bad like never before!
well, stetching is a good suggestion long term. Right now though I would suggest rubbing them, if I found if I can rub them and they sort of spasm (don’t know what to call it) it immediatly feels better.

where can I learn Argentine Tango ???????
I have no schools teaching here at my place.any sites whic could help me atleast in basics?
Hi,If you have never dance before, I would suggest that you try to learn Tango first, because Argentine Tango is more difficult that Tango, so learning the Tango first will give you a good fundation to learn Argentine Tango. Argentine Tango?
I am 5′1" only, my dance partner is 6′1", so even if I wear heels, I am still much shorter than him. We are thinking of taking argentine tango lesson together. Would it look really weird when we dance together? Sould I find someone who is closer to my height?
It would look just fine, but learning and dancing will be more difficult whith this much of a height difference. I suggest you two go to a beginner group class. In beginner classes, the teacher will ask you to rotate partners. You will get a chance to see for yourself if the height difference makes it much harder or it feels ok.

What’s the big deal (fun factor) with the night (trance) clubs?
Hi,
I could never understand why people go to night clubs, I’m not speaking of strip clubs but those with trance, house, techno music where I could only find negative attributes such as:
- overcrowded (more crowded than the tube at rush hour),
- long lines,
- exaggerated prices,
-probably quite a lot of junkies/drunks,
- music much too loud to have a conversation,
- the music is 90% the same all the time,
- dancing has the same moves all the time (no art like in tango or other types),
- after 1 hour everyone is sweating gallons of sweat…etc….
So what’s the big deal that makes so many people go there?????? Probably you’d say I’m old, but I’m 26 and I couldn’t understand this kind of fun so far…

It just depends on the person. I have friends who just don’t like to go and I have friends who love it. I think it’s because you can just let go. Yes, everything you said is true, but for some, that’s the thrill of going to a club.
